Team Day: Learning, Innovating and Growing Together

Over the Term 3 school holidays, our ProAACtive team took some time out of our regular schedule to connect, learn, and grow together!

We started the day by reviewing the latest research and evidence in AAC assessment and trial processes. It was a great opportunity to reflect on our current approaches and ensure we’re continuing to provide effective, evidence-based support to help every individual find their voice.

Next, we took part in a professional learning workshop all about collaborating with families. Together, we reflected on what matters most to families, explored strategies for building strong partnerships, and shared ideas about how to walk alongside families throughout their AAC journey. After a morning of deep reflection and learning, it was time for some fun! We headed to Archie Brothers for an afternoon of team building — and tackled the “Casino Heist” escape room. We might have needed a few clues along the way, but we made it out!
